Ready, steady.....GO!

Welcome to the new PTA blog!

The team of seven parents who make up this year's PTA Executive Committee at HIS, came together just under a month ago at Mr Exton's request, and we are all excited to try and help the community make this another great year for our kids at HIS. We have had to hit the ground running this year, with 2 major events coming up fast on the horizon, at the same time as we are trying to organise ourselves properly to support the school efficiently for the rest of the year. Thanks to all of you who have volunteered to help us in our task so far, especially for Halloween and Bonfire Night, and we hope you will forgive us if the flow of information is intense and sporadic until we get settled in.

こんにちは。私は国際交流が大好きな生粋の日本人です。私の願いは「peace on earth!」と実にダイナミック!
まずはその第一歩をHISのPTAから始めていきたいと思っています。
Hello! I am a 100% Japanese person who loves all things international. My wish for Peace on Earth is truly dynamic! My first step towards reaching it is joining HIS PTA.

Well, now you know who we are! Our goal is to use this blog as a means of keeping you up to date with what the PTA is up to. We hope that communication is a 2 way street, so if you see one of us at school or out and about,  say hi and let us know what your hopes for the PTA are. These 7 people are not the entire PTA. We are volunteer parents just like the rest of you. All parents of children at HIS are members of the PTA, and we hope that together we can help you to help us to help the school make HIS the best possible educational experience our kids can have.

You can also find our news on Facebook or by joining one of two HIS parents' groups on LINE, one is HIS (日本語)and the other is HIS (English). To find out more about HIS and sign up for our e-mail alerts for important or emergency information, please e-mail Jackie and Eriko at :
